Plans for DC

These are just a few of the places we plan to go on our trip.



We are going to visit Mount Vernon, President Washington's home and plantation.

We are also going to spend a few hours on Virginia Beach.

This is the Iwo Jima Memorial.

this is the entrance to the Holocaust Museum. We are scheduled to visit the museum on the second day of the trip.

Washington DC

April 9th I am leaving to go to Washington DC for a week. I am so excited to see all of the history that is in DC. I am taking the schools camera with me and I plan on taking alot of pictures that I will post after I get back. I am also planning on contributing some pictures to the art show that we are going to have here at the school.

Dylan Rasmussen, Thomas Troutman, 23 students from Burlington, Burlingtons History teacher, and Mr. Collins are all going too. I think this is going to be amazing and mind blowing.

Our Class

Has anyone ever noticed how small our class is compared to others?
Did anyone ever realize how much of a difference we made last year for Make-A-Wish. If we hadn't done the car wash to raise money the seniors wouldn't have been intimidated by us and we wouldn't have raised as much money as we did. Every year we all know that because of our class we dominate fundraisers because we are the first domino in a long line that brings in hundreds of dollars. We may not win overall in the fundraising contests but we all know that we are that first domino that affects the overall outcome.
We are always coming up with new ideas to raise money for our class or for other reasons like Make-A-Wish. This year we came up with 4 new fundraisers for Prom. We made heart sugar cookies for Valentine's Day. We are having a BBQ in March. We are raffling Easter baskets in April, and we are having a fashion show after Prom.

I want to say thank you to everyone that helps out with our fundraisers and those of you that support our class and dont have bad attitudes toward our overall goal. I love you all!! :)
